Peter A. Capodice,

Oversees: POLICE, PARKING,
TRAFFIC, TRANSPORTATION
Presently in his
third consecutive three-year term on the
Township Committee, Peter A. Capodice has
worked diligently on improving the quality
of life and property values in the Township
of Union.
Peter's single
biggest accomplishment was as the point
person for the Township by spearheading the
development process on the new Union Train
Station by New Jersey Transit which opened
to the public in 2003.
Capodice has
served the residents of Union in the
following capacities and positions: Mayor;
Deputy Mayor; Treasurer of the Joint Meeting
of Union and Essex Counties; Volunteer with
the local EMS (Emergency Management
Service). In 2004, Capodice's Township
Committee assignments are as follows: Public
Works, Buildings and Grounds, Refuse and
Purchasing.
Peter is known
for his ability to successfully navigate
complex development issues which has proven
to be a tremendous benefit to Union time and
time again. His commitment to his family and
helping those in need are the trademarks of
his character.
