Private
Trees
The
maintenance of trees located on
private property
are the
responsibility of the homeowner. If
you are unsure that a tree on your
property is private, call the Dept. of
Public Works to have an inspector make
the proper determination.
|
The Township of
Union offers free tree planting to
residents upon request. Tree planting is
twice a year, in the late spring and
late fall. The Township selects the
species each year based on
recommendations of the nursery arborist.
Homeowners are notified prior to
planting, and arrangements are made to
place the tree in a suitable location.
