On September 10th the township of union will be holding a flag
ceremony to honor those that lost their lives in the tragic events
of September 11, 2001. Please join us at 7pm for a flag exchange
ceremony done by the Union High School JR. ROTC. 7:15pm will begin a
ceremony including music poems and tributes to those who lost their
lives from our community. Join us for this moving tribute to those
lost on September 11th. Residents are asked to arrive
prior to 7pm as the ceremony will begin promptly at 7pm.
The Feast begins on Friday, September 17, at 5 p.m. and concludes at
10:30 p.m. Saturday’s hours are noon through 10:30 p.m., and Sunday
opens at noon and concludes at 9 p.m. The Columbia Italian American
Club of Union is a non-profit fund-raising organization established
in 1954. They donate the proceeds from the feast to various local
civic organizations, including the CYO of St. Michael the Archangel
Church, Union High School athletic clubs, the scholarship fund, Holy
Spirit Church, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. For more information,
