Prevention Alert
It makes
good sense to remove all valuable items from your
vehicle before leaving it. However, removing GPS
systems and satellite radio units may not be
enough. Citizens should be aware that the suction
cup mounting devices should also be removed.
Leaving
these attaching items remaining in the vehicle may
lead a would be criminal to assume that the radio or
GPS maybe somewhere in the vehicle, thus leading to
a break in.
