Roadway:
•  Elmwood Avenue Project: Resurfacing and widening Elmwood Avenue between Savitt
   Place and Morris Avenue.
•  2006 Roadway Improvements Program: Currently in construction phase. Contract I -
   Stanley Terrace, Moutainview Avenue, Lincoln Avenue and Whitewood Road. Contract II -
   Indian Run Parkway North & South, Florence Terrace, Gakley Drive, Parkview Drive, Colonial
   Road West, Bailey Avenue, Jean Terrace, Ellen Street, Stratford Road, Winthrop Road,
   Burke Road and Wyoming Avenue.
•  Mill Run Streetscape: Improvements to Walker Avenue & Manor Drive including lighting,
   shade trees, handicap ramps, and crosswalks - construction to begin by May 2007

Parks:
•  Joe Collins Park, to be upgraded with tot lot, swing set, and walkway with exercise
   station.
•  Field No. 1 Sports Lights at Biertuempfel Park. Project consists of installation of lighting for
   the softball field.

Infrastructure:
•  Upgrade underground storage tanks at Police, Fire, and Public Works.
•  Lightning Brook Wall Collapse. Project consists of repairing 240 feet of retaining wall on
   the Irvington Branch of Lightning Brook.
•  Fairway Drive Sewer Improvements - in design phase

Buildings:
•  Municipal Complex (Town Hall & Library) - upgrade drainage and waterproofing.
   Construction to begin in Spring of 2007.
•  Main Library Upgrades. Currently in design phase. Project consists of internal
   improvements new windows, new HVAC fixture.

Flood Control:
•  Received $1.1 million grant from NJDEP to correct localized street flooding in the
   Connecticut Farms section. Design in 2006 followed by construction in mid-late
   2007.
