PAINTS
Oil-based paint
may be disposed of during any
of the Union County Special Waste Disposal Days. For
information concerning times and locations, you may call the
Union County Utilities Authority at (908) 654-9889.
Water-based paint may be disposed of at the curb,
provided that the lids have been removed and the paint is
completely dry. Residents must insure that all paint cans
are dry and empty.
HOUSEHOLD SPECIAL WASTE
Aerosol cans, anti-freeze, batteries, caustics, corrosives,
cleaners fire extinguishers, fluorescent bulbs, motor oil,
oil based paints, varnishes, pesticides, herbicides, pool
chemicals, propane tanks, solvents, thinners and thermostats
may be disposed of at the Union County Household Special
