Grass/
Leaf Collection
 GRASS -Grass
Collection schedules will be mailed to ALL residents on or
about April 16, 2008. Please check your grass schedule for
your weekly pick-up day.
BRUSH-
Brush and twigs may be placed at the curb tied and bundled
no longer than four (4) feet, and no heavier than
50 lbs.per bundle. Each bundle is considered one (1)
bulk item.These
bundles will be picked up on the scheduled once-a week bulky
waste pick-up-day.
LEAVES-
The Township of Union 2008 Grass Collection Program will
end on Friday, November 7th. The 2008 Leaf
Collection program will begin on Monday October 27th
and continue uninterrupted through December 31, 2008
(weather permitting). Leaves will be collected weekly in
bags or a sturdy open container (no larger than 32 gallons).
In order to ensure proper pick-up, residents should place
leaves at the curb after 5:00 PM the night before scheduled
pick-up and no later then 5:30 AM on the scheduled pick-up
day. Your scheduled leaf pick-up day will be the same as
your grass pickup day.

All streets will be collected according to the schedule
(same as grass pick-up schedule
Leaves must be placed in biodegradable bags or a
sturdy open container no larger than 32 gallons. NO
PLASTIC BAGS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Only leaves
will be collected - no grass, dirt, branches or other
debris. Residents may bring their leaves to the
Municipal Compound located at 1 Swanstrom Place. Monday
through Friday 8:00AM to 4:00 PM. Throughout the leaf
collection season the municipal compound will be open to
the public on Saturdays from 10:00 Am- 2:00
Pm.
There will be NO leaf collection
