Section 8 Housing Assistance

The Section 8 Rental Assistance and Housing Assistance Payments Program of the Township of Union is a federally funded tenant based rental assistance program administered by the Township of Union Housing Agency. The purpose of the program is to provide safe, decent, affordable housing in good repair to the residents of the Township of Union. Eligibility is based on family income under guidelines established by the Federal Government. Current income guidelines are listed below. In order to be eligible, your family income must be lower than the very low-income amount listed for your family size. You will receive a Federal Income Targeted Preference if your income is below 30% of the Median Income.
