Teacher Resources

At Union Public Library, we're enthusiastic about collaborating with local educators and their students.

Educator Access

Educators working in Union or Vauxhall are eligible for a library card, which grants you access to a world of helpful resources, including:

  • Books, DVDs, and audiobooks
  • Digital resources and databases
  • Puppets
  • Museum passes
  • Playaway® Launchpad Tablets

Educators can also arrange to have their students apply for library cards. Contact us to receive card applications for the whole class!

Assignment Alerts

Need a list of books to supplement your lesson plan or upcoming assignment? Email us at ChildrensDepartment@uplnj.org to let us know, and we can pull books for you or your students in advance!

We also offer Readers' Advisory services to help your students find their next favorite book.

Library Visits

Schedule a Librarian Visit to your school, or take a Class Field Trip and visit us at UPL!

  • Librarian Visits can include a themed storytime or a research skill workshop, customized to suit your class's needs.
