Black History Month Celebration

In celebration of Black History Month 2023, the Township of Union is proud to host a month-long lineup of events featuring:

Film Screening ft. "The Woman King"

SAT, FEBRUARY 11 • 2PM • JEFFERSON SCHOOL AUDITORIUM, 155 HILTON AVE.

This event is free of charge; however, tickets are required. Union residents can pickup up to 2 free tickets at Town Hall, 1976 Morris Ave. Doors open at 1:30pm on event day. 

Please note, the film is RATED PG-13 for sequences of strong violence, some disturbing material, thematic content, brief language, and partial nudity.

Black Excellence Art Gallery

FRI, FEBRUARY 17 • 6-9PM •  VAUXHALL MEETING CENTER, 333 HILTON AVE.

Enjoy an evening of Black art at our pop-up gallery celebrating and featuring local Black artists. Free admission. There will be non-alcoholic champagne and light bites.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION

Join us as we close out Black History Month at our 1st ever-Black History Month Celebration featuring live music and performances, Black art, local Black-owned Business Vendors, and food trucks. During the event, we will also award the Annual Eulace Peacock Unsung Hero Award.
