Yes, a new license is required every year.

A license year is from February 1 to January 31.

Cost:

• $13 if the animal is spayed / neutered
• $18 if it is not spayed / neutered

2. What is needed to obtain a dog or cat license?

Proof of rabies vaccination, which has to be good through November of the licensing year.
