    The Township of Union is proud to be hosting its 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration on September 15th, 2019 from 2 pm to 7 pm. Named one of the most diverse towns in the State by NJ.com, the Township of Union prides itself on celebrating the heritage of its residents while providing an educational and entertaining experience for those from other cultures. Through performances from various cultural groups, local Latin food vendors, and dance performances, we hope to connect with our residents during this day-long celebration and share with them the soul-moving, rhythmic connection that Hispanic and Latin culture ties in with the celebration.

  4. Movies under the Stars: Live Action Aladdin

    September 20, 2019, 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM

    The live action movie Aladdin is a PG movie about a kind-hearted street urchin Aladdin who vies for the love of the beautiful Jasmine, the princess of Agrabah. When he finds a magic lamp, he uses a genie's magic power to make himself a prince in order to marry her. He is also on a mission to stop the power-hungry Grand Vizier Jafar who plots to steal the magic lamp that could make his deepest wishes come true. Starting at 5:30pm, there will be pre-entertainment such as a photo booth, live music by DJ J. Estelle, face painting and a sand art craft. Goodie bags will be provided for children on a first-come first-served basis. Movies under the Stars are open to the public and are free of charge to attend. Blankets, magic carpets, and chairs are welcomed. Food is available for purchase from the Rams concession stand.
