    The Jewish Vocational Service of MetroWest NJ will hold free citizenship exam preparation classes at the Vauxhall Branch of Union Public Library. Sessions will occur on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for 10 weeks, starting on January 11, 2020. Participants must bring their Green Card to class with them.     Come learn about New Jersey’s rich jazz scene over the years with Barbara Kulka, a local author who has written three books on the history of jazz in Newark. Live music by Carrie Jackson will bring this rich history to life. Jackon’s repertoire focuses on tunes that are part of the American Songbook, accenting the music of Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, and other popular singers.
