SID's are formed to support downtown and neighborhood organizations through business recruitment and retention efforts, marketing and promotions support, strategic planning, and other effort focused on revitalization.

The Union Center SID is the intersection of Morris Avenue and Stuyvesant Avenue. It goes from Morris ave, from Bank of American on Grandview Ave. to Johnson Place and on Stuyvesant Ave, from Haines Ave to the cannon.
